Bundling Debian 6 image for OpenStack Essex
The following method was tested using Debian 6.0.6 on Essex version of OpenStack. The OpenStack cloud was setup using the procedure given in the following link.

Bundling an OpenStack image from a running Instance at administration level.
Sometimes we would need an image directly bundled from a running instance. In that case we can use the following steps to bundle an image.
Automatic allocation of Floating IPs(Public IPs) to the instances in OpenStack Essex
We might sometimes need Floating IPs to come up with the instances automatically. In that case we need to add the following  line to the /etc/nova/nova.conf file.
